School holidays can be tough for both kids and parents. If you work full-time, arranging childcare can be a nightmare. If you work from home, you’re often continually interrupted by “He’s hitting me,” or the ever-popular “I’m bored.”
And if you’re a stay-at-home parent, you probably find yourself continually scrubbing strange stains out of the carpet and encouraging the kids to get off the couch and out in the fresh air.
If you’re looking for a way to keep your kids busy and ensure they have fun these holidays, a KIKOFF holiday camp may be just the answer you’re looking for.
You can find these camps and clinics at every KIKOFF facility, in a variety of locations across Sydney over the school holidays. Best of all, these camps are for all ages, whether you’ve got a toddler who needs to run off some energy or a teenager hoping to improve their skills.
There are two options depending on your kids’ ages and skill levels:
Holiday camps are a great opportunity for your kids to have a pressure-free introduction to the game. It’s also a good way for them to learn basic skills before they begin training after school.
The goal is to help foster a love of playing football, so the kids will naturally want to play whenever they can. Holiday camp makes football enjoyable, whether kids are brand-new to the game, they’ve played a few times, or they play whenever they can.
KIKOFF goes a step further, with daily themes, coach challenges, and World Cup competitions. Experienced and enthusiastic coaches keep the kids entertained and teach them a variety of key skills. Holiday camp is all about learning while having fun, and they’ll learn the physical, tactical, and technical skills they need.
The locations for holiday camps include Heffron Park, Fraser Park, and Harbord. Holiday camps are available for kids aged 5-12, and kids attend from 9am to 12pm, four days a week. Kids can also attend individual days, which is great for younger kids or those who have a lot on over the holidays.
Holiday clinics are just like holiday camps. But they’re designed specifically for players hoping to upskill with similarly skilled and like-minded peers.
These clinics are an excellent option for players who like to be pushed, but are also achievable so they stay motivated. Your kids will be challenged, and will become more well-rounded players.
Kids can expect to learn technical and tactical skills, while improving their fitness and strength, and becoming better team players.
Holiday clinics are available at Fraser Park and Harbord. Kids aged 8 and over can attend 3-4 days of holiday clinic, from 1pm-3pm. They can also attend individual days.
If your kids love football, or have been asking to try it out, the KIKOFF holiday camps and clinics are the perfect opportunity. For kids who are new to the sport, holiday camps give them a commitment-free way to try out training with other kids, to see if they’d like to continue football in the future.
Kids who are experienced with playing football will find that the clinics give them tons of new skills to work on over the holidays. They’ll also get to meet new kids and make friends with soccer-lovers from all over Sydney.
