- Play a sport
As a child, no doubt it’s all you did. Well, find that passion again and go and enjoy yourself. You will be working harder than you have worked in years, and the best part is you won’t even realise. Adults often take life too seriously, playing a sport will not only be good for your physical condition, but your mental well-being too.
- Walk
It is easy to jump in your car to get to work. It is easy to sit still on your lunch break. It’s easy to quickly nip to the shops in your motor. Stop doing this and walk on a few more occasions. 10000 steps is the guide to get in each day. If you get these in earlier in the mornings you will set yourself up for success for the day.
- Get equipment at home
Lot’s of us feel uncomfortable heading in to a gym and looking like ‘that guy’. Unsure what to do with the newest equipment and feeling out of place, we easily make the excuse and just don’t go. Simple solution, get a skipping rope, get a punching bag, get a football and do it at home!
- Get a buddy
If you are anything like me, having someone to make you accountable makes doing the things you can’t see to find time for that much easier. Find an old friend, colleague at work or a neighbor, and watch your goals get smashed!
